HR Project manager continuous improvement

You are responsible for improving the capability of the People Services organization to safeguard and continuously improve operational execution and supports in achieving long-term strategic goals. Actively seeks out and defines improvement opportunities within the organization and facilitates an end to-end process approach. Provides and coordinates Tier 2 level support inquiry resolution for complex cases. 

You act as a liaison between expertise departments, fosters knowledge sharing across teams, and plays a crucial role in improving the continuous improvement culture within PS. Improvement mindset, project managementskills, and a collaborative approach are essential for success in this role.

Context

  • Drive standardization, simplification, automation and efficiency gains in relation to relevant work processes. You are actively and constantly seeking for and deploying efficient ways of working

  • Initiates and runs (improvement) projects within People Services scope with a contious improving focus. 

  • Safeguards and drive knowledge and skills in own domain and facilitates capability building towards the People Services organization. 

  • Generates insights using trend data analysis for storytelling, using data to make informed decisions. 

  • Translates new / changed processes to knowledge base & process execution and safeguards interdependencies 

  • Performs data gathering, analytics and reporting for continuous improvement and compliancy in own domain.

  • Collaborates in cross-sector teams to achieve results

  • Expert in the People Services domain and handles inquiries from a Tier 2 perspective where insights in processes and ways of working is needed. 

  • Resolves issues in a professional and efficient manner.

  • Proactively aligns with the relevant expertise teams to build knowledge and escalates cases to expertise groups where guidance and deeper clarification of processes or exceptions are required. 

  • Developing and monitoring management information aimed at improving performance, such as KPI reports and service delivery reports.

  • Technical skills

  • Consulting agility & style flexibility to understand business needs and translate them into requirements.

  • Excellent continuous improvement drive and experience with process management methods / techniques. Facilitation on Lean (Six Sigma) methods like Kaizen, VSM and A3 problem solving.

  • Data reporting and analytics; ability to create insights from trend data analysis and apply relevant analytical methods.

  • Project management skills; ability to initiate and run cross-team projects independently.

  • Ability to make a good judgement call, integrating inputs and needs from several sources, safeguarding interdependencies.

  • Education

  • HBO/WO level of education and thinking.

  • Lean Green Belt certification.

  • Strong persuasive skills, with a focus on active listening and asking the right questions.

  • Natural talent for building connections.

  • Experience in stakeholder management, able to act in the organizational interest.
