Position Summary:
Medavie continues to grow and deliver on innovative solutions for internal stakeholders and external clients. The Portfolio Planning Analyst role reports to the Manager, IT Portfolio Management and is key in the delivery of the IT Portfolio roadmap. Portfolio Planning Analysts build strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitate intake, provide analysis and coordination of all IT requests through assessment and estimation, support prioritization and alignment of strategic objectives and business & technical roadmaps.
You are an influential leader, who is situationally aware, responsive and can work within ambiguity. You are driven to be innovate, create, and try new approaches. Your strong communication, facilitation and analytical skills will be utilized to define business needs, identify stakeholder impacts, and effectively bring together the Business and IT teams to propose solutions to meet the identified business need or problem. You will promote the value of IT Planning through the enhancement of project portfolio scheduling, relationship management and portfolio governance.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
College diploma, bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Finance, or related field and/or relevant experience.
Work Experience:
8+ years of progressive & relevant work in an IT Planning, Portfolio management experience in Insurance and/or Health sector is an asset.
Other Qualifications:
Would be considered an asset: IIBA (CBAP, CCBA, ECBA), PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen
Computer Skills:
Proficient using process modeling, spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software.
Language Skills:
English, written and spoken. French would be considered an asset.
