At the core of our product lies insightful data. We have a complex scraping framework and data warehouse. We always look for ways to improve our data setup. We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer, someone ready to take charge of our Data Warehouse and scraping framework, as well as lead the team. The approximate split will be 30% focus on Leadership and 70% focus on hands-on engineering.

You will love working with us if

  • You enjoy your data large. Our dataset contains a large volume of data that is only continuing to grow from our crowd-sourcing app and scraping.
  • You enjoy impactful work. You will have the chance to work directly with datasets that drive our business.

    • We’ll love working with you if

  • You are proficient in Python
  • You have vast experience with PySpark and Spark (managed or not)
  • You know your way around AWS and Azure cloud platforms for data engineering workflows
  • You have hands-on experience working with datasets containing millions of records and designing systems to handle large volumes of data
  • You are an expert on relational databases like PostgreSQL and SQL Server
  • You are knowledgeable on concepts such as Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and Analytics Dashboards to derive insights from stored data
  • You have experience implementing ETL pipelines
