A Day in the Life
• Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing - and logistics processes, workstation design and -setups, production- and warehouse layouts and related equipment and technology.
• Apply the tools within our Medtronic Performance System (MPS), like Value Stream Analysis, Zero Loss and SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Dies).
• Practice and support effective Tier management.
• Execute and support problem-solving for processes and tools.
• Define and implement 5S-measures.
• Document work methods and train / coach operators, work cell leaders and supervisors.
• Create or configure digital support tools for performance management.
• Perform data analysis of operational performance metrics.

Must Haves
• Technical education at "MBO"-level or equivalent
• 5 to 7 years of work experience in similar roles in a production environment
• Strong proficiency in Dutch and at basic English skills
• Continuous improvement mindset with demonstrable successes in increasing process efficiency and reducing process waste in a production assembly environment
• Expertise in working with data-driven Performance Management structures
• Demonstrable successes in driving change and transformation in a multidisciplinary organization
• Strong technical knowledge of production technology, equipment and manual assembly processes

Nice to Haves
• Good documenting skills
• Good knowledge of Office 365 and digital tools for running manufacturing and logistics processes
• Affinity with the medical devices industry
• Preferably a Lean Six Sigma yellow or green belt and some knowledge of process automation and digitization
