About the Role
 

You will work with the Journal Level Sales team (JLS) to plan and execute marketing activities. These are aimed at achieving annual targets for personal and member subscription journals Elsevier worldwide and for the French market.
 

Responsibilities
 

  • Working with the appropriate teams to ensure monthly renewals are deployed and mailed for both Advantage and Delta fulfillment systems. At the same time, you make improvements for a smooth customer experience;
  • Planning and executing marketing activities and managing the renewal process for personal subscriptions for Elsevier’s French journals;
  • Acting as a liaison for the telemarketing team ensuring they receive the leads each month. Implementing additional win back campaigns as needed for personal subscribers and reviewing targets and monthly spending;
  • Liaising with Finance and Elsevier publishers for the annual pricing exercise for both personal subscriptions and members;
  • Achieving financial targets for both personal and member revenue lines;
  • Having monthly revenue accountability with the Society team lead.
  • Requirements
     

  • Have a proven record as a successful marketing manager;
  • Have previous experience with subscription fulfilment systems;
  • Be fluent in French (both verbal and written);
  • Have excellent communication skills;
  • Be experienced working in an international matrixed organization;
  • Have project management skills;
  • Be a self starter.
