Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Payroll Specialist with at least 3-years relevant working experience to join the EMEA Accounting team at our European Headquarters in Amsterdam. This position will be reporting to the Senior Manager, EMEA Payroll.

Your Impact

  • Collecting and compiling monthly payroll data from HR ERP system (Workday) and key payroll stakeholders (HR, Sales compensation, Equity, Compensation & Benefits teams, Legal) for approximately 9 countries
  • Communicate all monthly / semi-monthly Payroll input data to external Payroll service provider
  • Execute checks and controls processes by reconciling Payroll input data to Payroll outputs delivered by the external service providers
  • Prepare monthly Payroll journal entries as well as payroll related month-end accruals, perform flux movement analysis
  • Assist R2R team in payroll reconciliation to General ledger
  • Handle payroll related questions from employees and internal functions
  • Handle payroll related annual statutory audit requests
  • Participate in Payroll projects to improve accuracy and efficiency of the EMEA Payroll function
  • Qualifications

    Your Experience

  • Relevant educational background/degree, preferably in accounting or equivalent military experience required
  • At 3 years relevant working experience in EMEA Payroll Accounting in an international environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel application skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills with a high attention to accuracy, detail, organization and confidentiality
  • Fast learner with an ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-driven & Proactive
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
