Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized inproject support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry. Weprovide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management,Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

Functieomschrijving

The Project engineer is responsible fordesign related tasks of masts, booms, rigging and parts andactively supervises the design in the productionstage.

• Produce design as required to meet the Design Office andProduction schedules
• Work to company standardprocedures & policies, to ensure your design output is of therequired quality & accuracy
• Work withother departments to assist their efforts to meet planned &unplanned task deadlines
• Work with all staffin establishing and maintaining a satisfying and productive workenvironment for all Design Office staff
• Adhereto the companies H & S policy and ensure the appropriateprocedures & standards are being followed by all Streammembers

Design Operations

• Complete design, drafting & checking tasksunder the supervision of Team Lead Engineering, Senior designers& Design Engineers
• Provide support toother departments as required
• Maintain anunderstanding of your teams’ output requirements (planned &unplanned)
• Manage your own workload &monitor own time keeping through communications with Team LeadEngineering and Project Manager running the project
• Follow checking & design procedures, includingcompletion of all QC documentation as required
• Report & correct errors as required and proactivelycontribute in developing procedures to eliminate repeats
• Proactively monitor jobs and suggest cost/time savingimprovements where possible

Risk and Compliance

• Health & Safety – Ensures compliance withhealth and safety requirements and actively promotes a safeculture
• Complies with Health and Safetypolicies and procedures at all times

Otherduties

• As required andthat are in line with the position

Functie-eisen

• MBO level or bachelor
• Experience inshipbuilding industry
• Technical background incomposite design/production
• Autocad /Solidworks or similar software
• Mechanical andstructural design experience
• MS office incl.Excel
• Fluent in English and preferably Dutchor willing to learn
