Functieomschrijving

As E&I Project Engineer you are part of a multidisciplinary team and responsible for supporting the design of theentire E&I installation during all engineering phases. Youdesign, implement and commission E&I installations in projectsranging from large investment projects to innovations andmodifications in process installations, buildings andinfrastructure. Within this role you also ensure that E&I scopeis realized on time and within budget, whilst meeting theapplicable quality requirements, laws and regulations.

• Supervise safety, quality, planning and budget ofE&I projects.
• Act as project leader on key E&Iprojects.
• Prepare E&I specifications such ascontrol cabinets, power distribution panels and processinstrumentation.
• Conduct technical bid evaluation andsupplier clarification meetings.
• Maintain and updaterelevant E&I documentation (e.g. drawings, ATEX reports forhazardous areas, SAP data).
• Define and approve E&Iinformation on P&ID status documentation.
• Provideexpertise to scope reviews, HAZOP, alarm reviews, safety audits andinvestigation teams as required.
• Identifyopportunities for improved plant performance through application ofE&I technology.
• Experience with high voltage powerdistribution is an advantage.

Functie-eisen

•Bachelor or academic degree in Electrical Engineering orInstrumentation Engineering.
• Approximately 5 to 10years of relevant work experience in the chemical/process industryor Engineering company related experience.
• Preferablycertified Functional Safety Engineer based on internationalstandards IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
• Excellent teamplayer with great adaptability, optimism and a proactiveattitude.
• Good personal communication and socialskills, customer-oriented and motivated.
•Well-developed analytical skills, easy decision maker and tenaciousin achieving results.
• Good planner and organizer withhigh stress tolerance.
• Excellent and skilledcommunicator in Dutch and English.
• Experience withdesign, setup, field verification, installation and troubleshootingin a, preferably, industrial environment.
• Ability tomanage multiple projects and coordinate multidisciplinaryprojects
• Familiar with ATEX, E-CAD packages andrelevant NEN standards.
