By helping to apply and further develop the Designfor Reliability methodology, you will play a central role insustaining the commercial success of the world’s leading providerof lithography systems for semiconductors. This success is built onthree key pillars: innovation, time-to-market, and reliability.Your technical skills will be crucial, but equally important willbe your communication skills and persistence to continuallyinfluence others to prioritize and maintain reliability as a keyperformance indicator for our systems. You will collaborate withvarious departments within the organization such as Design andDevelopment, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, and CustomerSupport, as well as work closely withsuppliers.

For a specific subsystem and itsrelated parts & modules/building blocks, your responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Analyzingfield performance and lessonslearned.
• Establishing reliability requirementsand budget breakdowns.
• Defining operationalenvironments and use cases.
• Performing riskanalysis/FMEA with the developmentteam.
• Identifying criticalparts.
• Conducting reliability testing atdifferent functional levels within a subsystem, includingfeasibility and lifetime testing.
• Performingreliability predictions.
• Conducting root causeanalysis.
• Reviewing designs with a focus onrobustness.

Functie-eisen

• BSc or MSc inmechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or(applied) physics, preferably with a focus on reliabilityengineering.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certificationis highly advantageous.
• Priority will be givento candidates with at least two years of practical experience inreliability engineering andqualification.
• Candidates with a technicalbackground and experience in industrial problem-solving, failuremechanisms, and statistics are encouraged toapply.
