Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Security Sales Engineer with a focus on Trend Micro solutions to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving the sales of our security solutions, particularly those offered by Trend Micro. This role involves providing technical expertise to customers, understanding their security needs, and presenting tailored Trend Micro solutions. The position requires a combination of technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity, specifically within the Trend Micro ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

  • Demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity, threat intelligence and Trend Micro's security solutions our platform Vision One, showcasing their capabilities in protecting against advanced threats.
  • Collaborate with Trend Micro's technical teams to stay updated on the latest threat landscapes and security technologies, ensuring in-depth knowledge of Trend Micro products.

Solution Presentations:

  • Work closely with the sales team and partners to articulate how Trend Micro solutions effectively address specific security challenges, such as ransomware protection and cloud security.
  • Customize presentations to showcase successful implementations of Trend Micro's solutions in real-world scenarios, emphasizing their impact on improving overall cybersecurity posture.

Client Engagement:

  • Engage with clients to understand their IT architecture and security requirements, providing expert guidance on how Trend Micro solutions can be tailored to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with Trend Micro's technical support team to ensure prompt resolution of any post-sales technical issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Foster relationships with Trend Micro and cybersecurity related user communities and forums to stay connected with the latest user experiences and challenges.

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with Trend Micro's marketing team to create technical content that highlights the advantages of Trend Micro solutions.
  • Provide input into the development of sales collateral, offering insights into competitive advantages of Trend Micro solutions.
  • Represent the organization at Trend Micro events, conferences, and webinars to strengthen partnerships and contribute to industry knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably with a focus on Trend Micro cybersecurity solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure such as servers, endpoints, applications, cloud and network security and related technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts related to solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
