The Senior Director will provide strategic leadership of the EMEA TMS (Transport Management) function. They will have a deep product, operational and people leadership expertise. They will lead the implementation of business plans and provide overall direction to the Services team. They will work closely with EMEA Sales leadership to ensure the success of the TMS business.
This role can be based in any of our EMEA offices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Governance:
The Senior Director has responsibility for the overall success of all EMEA TMS implementations. Project responsibilities include establishing and managing the executive message to customers and auditing key project factors like budget, scope, resources, and timeline.
Serves as escalation point for issue resolution.
Attending Steering Committee Meetings as Project Director.
Act as Project Engagement Lead.
Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor of customers.
Oversee existing customer base – monitor upgrade review.
Provides industry expertise in relation to client’s business.
Develops scheduling commitments to internal and external customers and is responsible for achieving those commitments.
Maintain billable percentage of 20%.
People Leadership
Act as Comp Planning Manager for EMEA Services
Oversee MPower and team completion of Goals, MPOWER Connections and Year End Reviews.
Complete Skip Level Reviews
Provide inspirational leadership and coaching to reports. Play an active role in each team members MPOWER process, manage performance, discipline, and training.
EMEA Services Liaison:
EU Liaison Lead.
MAI liaison & executive engagement lead.
Cloud Team Liaison.
Annual Budgeting.
CSO Liaison.
Services Sales Support:
Sales/PSO Lead Liaison.
Establish and develop positive collaboration between Services and Sales.
Support with RFP’s, project requirements.
Take the lead as Services Lead for Sales engagements.
Encourage the support of sales initiatives from the Services team.
Sales Negotiation.
Ability to up-sell, build and manage existing customer relationships.
Commercial Lead & Support.
Partner Liaison.
Growth and Emerging Markets:
Provide oversight to the UK Services team working on Growth and Emerging Markets projects. This could include: resource planning, project escalation and sales support.
Minimum Education and experience requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
A subject matter expert within the software implementation field with proven consulting expertise. (TMS, Transport Management knowledge)
Cloud/Saas implementation software subject matter expert.
Proven end-to-end sales through to implementation experience.
Resource planning and management experience with supply chain systems and software implementations.
Average travel 50 - 75%.
