Senior IT Support Specialist

As a Senior IT Support Specialist , we will turn to you on all things to do with planned (such as projects and upgrades) and unplanned (such as incidents and requests) IT issues. You will work closely with other TBS systems and contribute to the overall department and company strategy.  What is expected of you as Senior IT Support Specialist:

  • Provide a high quality level of IT support to staff in our hotels, restaurants and offices, both in the UK and the Netherlands
  • Assist with planned (for example, projects and upgrades) and unplanned (incidents and requests) IT issues in a timely, customer-focused manner
  • Work closely with other TBS teams (Applications Team, Infrastructure/Network Team, IT Security) and contribute to overall departmental and company strategy
  • Assist with the strategic and tactical support of key software and hardware systems 
  • Ensure that support requests are tackled in a timely fashion in accordance with our Technical Support Process and SLAs, assisting with testing and deployments 
  • Assist in prioritising the workload of the Netherlands based IT Support team 
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other members of the IT Support team 
  • Facilitate system access requests 
  • Maintain systems support documentation, procedures and other information useful to the smooth & efficient operation of information systems 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business partners both internally & externally 1
  • Assist with the implementation of new applications and/or enhancements or upgrades of existing applications/systems
