Your role

Manage the sourcing, planning and on time delivery process for development/realization demand in projects for Mechatronics and Manufacturing Systems (MMS), involving mono parts, assemblies or equipment;

Proactively collect development needs from the project team, review technical drawings on feasibility internally/externally.

Act as bridge between Development and suppliers, facilitate supplier input in early design phases;
-
Support/execute supplier selection according to the Procurement Commodity policies;
-
Request for quotes according to the procurement guidelines, perform price comparisons, negotiate conditions;
-
Actively follow up requested materials and deliver according to project requirements and project planning;
-
Backwards parts planning: create and maintain a parts and logistics planning for NPI projects and agree this planning with relevant stakeholders (Project Manager, external partner);

Secure overall supply reliability and quality, incl. support identification of supply risk, drive supply risk mitigation actions, manage rejections, SCARs and supplier performance;

Monitor actual materials spend throughout the project to stay within project budget;

Provide process transparency to the project team and proactively report status of our activities and deliverables;
-
Support/lead project logistic (transport, goods receipt, kitting) process and alignment with realization.

Participate in improvement teams and continuous improvement activities.

You have at least a Bachelor degree in technical engineering, or equivalent technical background and knowledge through work experience.

Experience with procurement or technical sourcing in one-off or low volume development and realization projects.

Affinity with technology and innovation.

Good communication and (supplier) relation management skills.

Project management capabilities and experience is a pre.
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
-
You have a proactive and transparent way of working and are reliable in fulfilling your agreements.

You are a self-starter profile and capable of independent decision-making.
-
Accurate but also pragmatic.
-
You are motivated to continuously improve our processes and ways of working.

The ability to not only signal issues but also generate alternative solutions.

Fluent in Dutch and English both written and spoken.
