Operational :
Collaborate with customers to gather business requirements and translate them into information system requirements related to laboratory operations, data management, sample tracking, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
Analyze current and future business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation using Digital Science products.
Work with project managers to create project plans, manage timelines, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain user requirements documents, requirements trace matrix (RTM) documents, system specifications, including functional and technical requirements, user interface design, and system configuration.
Work closely with the project team to translate business requirements into practical system configurations and customizations.
Communicate with customers, project managers, and consultants to ensure everyone is in alignment regarding project requirements.
Assist with system testing and quality assurance to ensure the system meets business requirements.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from end users to validate system functionality and address any issues or concerns.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of the Digital Science software with other systems and technologies.
Stay updated with industry trends and standard methodologies related to laboratory informatics, enterprise software, and regulatory requirements to recommend and implement system enhancements.
Contribute to improving processes, ensuring compliance, and driving improvements.
Provide recommendations into planning, resource allocation, tracking, and reporting on customer engagements.
Facilitate team and customer meetings; deliver engaging, informative presentations to internal and external audiences.
Contribute to building solutions consulting and architecture competency and practices.
Travel, as needed, for internal and customer meetings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience collecting, synthesizing, and documenting requirements for enterprise software solutions, preferably in life and laboratory sciences.
Proficiency in business analysis techniques, such as requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.
Experience creating User Requirements Specifications, Requirements Traces Matrix, user stories, and flow diagrams.
Broad knowledge of relevant technologies (LIMS, LES, ELN, SDMS) and implications in the delivery of scientific solutions, and the ability to demonstrate the same to architect and deliver impactful solutions to meet business requirements.
Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, workflows, and regulatory requirements, including cGxP and ISO standards.
Experience with agile methodologies and project management principles.
Demonstrated experience delivering in a matrix, global environment, across internal and external resources.
Understanding of SDLC, Quality and IT processes in the context of delivering and supporting validated systems.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s or master's degree in IT, IS, Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent.
At least 5+ years of relevant experience in software technical and business analysis with medium and large customers in various roles such as business analyst, consultant, or implementation lead for enterprise solutions in the laboratory sciences industry, specifically, developing and deploying solutions catering to one or more areas of discovery, research, development, or manufacturing.
Demonstrated success as a key participant, lead, or manager of technology consulting engagements.
