Sr. Principal Engineer Serialization & Traceability

We currently looking for a Senior Principal Engineer Serialization & Traceability to join our Global department.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Own and manage all serialization and traceability equipment and process activities for all EPD plants. Main SME for any serialization and traceability equipment and process related topics, including: problem/issue support, all SnT related projects, improvements, new implementations, solution design etc.
Also responsible for SnT equipment and processes strategy and vision, education and training and future proofing/lifecycle managing the SnT equipment and processes.
Lead cross-functional local and global teams to develop fit-for-purpose solution for plants that need new SnT implementations considering the regulatory and business environment as well as the state of the art in SnT technology.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
SME for all equipment and process related tasks and activities in EPD as well as SnT technology responsibility and ownership.
Lead and guide plants through first contact with SnT, from the initiation through complete solution design, supplier selection, education, training, qualification, installation, hand over and go live.
Lead and/or support local projects that impact existing SnT solutions (new lines, changed lines, replacement, upgrades/improvements, problem solving, capacity increases, technology upgrade, lifecycle management etc.)
Educate, train and share knowledge between all SnT stakeholders in EPD and across Abbott divisions
Propose SnT investment roadmap via LRP and budgeting processes, support plants and regions with cost estimations and project calculations
Develop and maintain supplier capability overview and supplier/partner strategy and long-term roadmap
Ensure SnT equipment and process roadmap considers fit-for-purpose for emerging market regions as well as state of the art technology advancements
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Master of Science in f.e. Mechanical engineering, process engineering, automation engineering or related
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technology lead role with global scope regarding equipment and process solutions
Experience in testing, assessing and evaluating technologies, processes, machines and complete solutions (e.g. production or packaging lines)
Serialization can be a difficult and disruptive topic, the role requires skills to lead a team through the difficult choices with SnT and influence peers and higher management/leadership to realistic solutions
PMP certificate nice to have
