Responsibilities
Managing skilled practices in Technical and Environmental Due Diligence to provide best-in-class services for Commercial Real Estate clients. Build and manage high-performance teams.Assure on-time, on-budget completion of staff assignments.Take accountability for invoicing and accounts receivable.Build company credibility, brand value, and trust with prospective customers.Develop and implement strategies to grow the practice.
Support additional business development efforts. Prepare proposals collaboratively with the professional team and oversee proposal communication and negotiation with clients.Build company credibility, brand value, and trust with prospective customers; Gain knowledge, insight and understanding from key decision-makers regarding client’s needs/challenges; Identify strategies and product types that address client’s needs.Develop a strong presence with clients in the due professional community; Represent the company at tradeshows and conferences, attend industry-specific networking events, and contribute to blog postings and other company marketing efforts.Strategize with and support the other members of the team to cohesively market all Partner services.Stay current on the requirements of various financial products, legislative updates, utility incentives, and municipal initiatives that affect our business and communicate that information both internally and externally.
Person Specification
Relevant environmental and/or surveying qualifications .
Existing client network and the ability and drive to generate new client relationships.
Proven new business generation experience
Five to ten+ years post qualification experience.
You will have varied experience including proven experience at a senior level within the commercial sector
Knowledge and Abilities
Existing relationships with key commercial clients.
Excellent communication skills - written, spoken, and listening - with the ability to explain and interpret complex issues.
High energy, drive, and ambition.
Proven track record of superior client service and practice management.
Complex sales and relationship-based selling experience in civil and survey industries
Ability to manage and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Driving license would be preferred.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English.
Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading from printed sources and computer screen.
