Within the TwinScan Factory the Technical Support department provides quality solutions for technical disturbances to secure delivery performance of our DUV lithography systems in our factory and during install at our customer site. Within the System Qualification competence we primarily provide support for disturbances during System Setup and the Acceptance Test Protocol (ATP).

Role and responsibilities

  • Support: first line - analytical - troubleshoot support for volume production within our factory and install organization;
  • Machine technology: have detailed knowledge about our current volume machines including related technologies;
  • Taking initiative: take the lead by defining corrective plans and solutions, undertake the right actions on time;
  • Cooperating : work closely together with other support departments to secure effective problem analysis and continuity;
  • Creative : focus on finding more solutions to one problem, and perceive the problem in multiple ways;
  • Controlling KPI’s : monitor the quality and timing of solutions and their implementation, including technical realization;
  • Multitasking: even when multiple tasks are executed at the same time you deliver work with quality and respect delivery deadlines;
  • Aftercare: point out structural problems to be solved structurally or have a countermeasure in place before next occurrence;
  • Transferring knowledge: actively seek and transfer knowledge.
  • Education and experience

    To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need at least:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in the direction of: Physics, Aerospace, Mathematics, (Nano)electronics or Nanotechnology;
  • Preferably experience with troubleshooting: analyzing problems, finding root-cause and determining solution;
  • Experience in problem analysis of products and processes;
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methods;
  • Preferably experience with (technical) project management.

    The Technical Support Engineer reports to the Groupleader Technical Support.
     

    You will be working in a Support Schedule (2-shift):

  • Mon to Fri from 06:30 until 15:30 and from 15:00 until 00:00 (every other week);
  • One fixed day off per week;
  • Work one weekend per month from 07:00 until 16:00.
  • Expected to travel (infrequently, up to 15%) to a customer site. Preventive and / or on escalation basis.
