On behalf of a leading hotel group, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Engineer to join their team in Eindhoven. In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's technical operations, ensuring the comfort and safety of guests and staff alike.

About the Role:

• Lead and manage a team of engineering technicians, providing guidance and ensuring efficient operations.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment life.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems related to HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire safety.
• Oversee all aspects of guest room maintenance, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively, prioritizing repairs and replacements.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and guests by adhering to safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments within the hotel, including housekeeping, front office, and management.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Chief Engineer or similar role within a large hotel or hospitality setting (minimum 3 years).
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety protocols.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
• Experience working within a fast-paced and demanding environment.
