This position is for the Data Analyst of the Data Analyst Center of Expertise.
Your key responsibilities are:
• You will report to the Global Head of Lending Delivery Management
• You identify new data, trends, and opportunities. Together with fellow Leads you translate this into an analytics vision and strategy
• You are responsible for implementing this vision in one of our domains
• You have a broad interest in data: Collecting, transforming, analyzing, experimenting, and visualizing it
• You maximize the potential of your team and stimulate them to keep developing themselves
• You are a front-runner in maintaining and further improving the fact-based culture within ING
• You embody our orange code in your professional manner: you take on activities and responsibilities and make them happen, you help others to be successful, and you are one step ahead in anticipating your colleagues and stakeholders
• You will be responsible for coaching, training, and supporting the personal development plans of the data analysts; share their knowledge, experiences, and challenges regularly.
• You will guide Data Analyst in their professional growth and development.
• Also, to bring data Expertise in a CoE to streamline knowledge and promote consistent best practices (outside in view) across the Tribe
We are looking for talented professionals who:
• An entrepreneur who combines client focus with delivery power and ability to make an impact through inspiring and energetic leadership
• You have multiple years of proven experience and success in relevant roles in the field of Data Analytics
• You have strong experience with relevant languages (., SQL, SAS) and dashboarding tooling (., Cognos and PowerBI)
• Strong understanding of technology (IT architecture, programming languages, and applications knowledge)
• Ability to display style flexibility to teams and adapt plans, approach, and behavior to diverse needs and situations
• Strong organizational sensitivity; ability to understand and consider the underlying issues, opportunities, and dynamics of an organization
• Your ability to promote and embed delivery culture in the organization
• Strong resilience: your ability to navigate through ambiguity and simplify complexity
• A pro-active, creative, and an out-of-the-box thinker able to empower teams to act autonomously
• A colleague who displays all aspects of ING’s Orange behavior
• An open and transparent communicator and someone able to stimulate the cross-border interaction between people within and outside their Product
You have a proven track record and technical skills in:
• A master’s degree in the field of analytics, mathematics or econometrics
• A minimum of 5-8 +years of experience
• Proven experience or strong affinity with the ING Agile Way of Working
• Proven experience in strategic projects with high impact
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skill
