Lead Digital Marketing Manager
The Lead Digital Marketing Manager will define and drive Workiva's website strategy and lead the creation of compelling experiences that pay off marketing communications and attract, inspire, engage, and convert prospective customers in the European and Latin America markets. This role requires a high level of collaboration with global and regional demand generation, developers and MarTech teams to plan and deliver seamless web experiences across the customer journey.
What You’ll Do
Lead the web strategy, including development of landing page experiences, conversion rate optimization (CRO), search engine optimization (SEO), User Experience (UX) enhancements that drive acquisition, conversion, and retention across regions
Create website experiences for campaigns, product initiatives, and always-on programs, ensuring accurate messaging, timing, and capabilities needed to execute
Work closely with the Marketing Operations and Demand Generation teams to ensure that the marketing technology strategy aligns with the organization’s broader website strategy
Drive continuous performance improvement through a testing and experimentation roadmap to increase quality lead generation and pipeline progression
Create and maintain the website roadmap to support company and marketing OKRs and define and report key performance indicators that support these initiatives
Optimize our website in each region for search to increase brand awareness and capture high quality leads across the buyer journey
Deliver innovative digital experiences that differentiate Workiva from the competition and improve conversion rates across the buyer journey
Recommend and manage the performance of any external digital marketing vendors
Work closely with regional teams to localize content and build the website elements of regional campaigns
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years digital marketing and/or website management experience
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a B2B Saas company preferred
Experience with conversion rate optimization, user experience testing and analysis
Understanding of technical SEO, including site architecture optimization, site speed considerations, and on-page and off-page optimization
Experience in the following (or equivalent) platforms preferred: Drupal, Ahrefs, Smartling, Drift, On24, 6Sense, Marketo, Salesforce
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
International digital experience across multiple markets/languages preferred
Data-driven mindset, lead with a customer-centric approach, take an analytic approach to problem solving and have a strong understanding of what data drives impact.
Familiarity with global website privacy and data protection best practices including GDPR and CCPA
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
Proven track record of leading the strategy and execution of complex, cross-functional web programs in a results-driven environment
Ability to turn data and insights into actionable recommendations for improvement and optimization
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Up to 10% Travel for customer and internal meetings
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
