Do you have sales drive and technical savviness with the ability to communicate to customers and our internal sales professionals? Are you an experienced professional with demonstrable expertise in digitalization in the food/beverage/chemical industries? In the division HRT, Heating and Refrigeration Technologies, we are looking for a Product Specialist Digital Solutions Benelux.
In this role you are the key country contact for the GEA digital units. You identify co-development and pilot customers and coordinate joint projects. You combine specialist technical knowledge with sales support skills and will be an important player in our sales support team.
Your Tasks:
Support the Frontline Sales Representatives in our divisions to qualify leads and sell our digital solutions in several industries.
Use your digital expertise to understand the customers’ requirements and incorporate your technical knowledge into our sales approach.
Coordinate the collaboration with the GEA Digital Units in the different divisions to identify pilot customers and steer the co-development.
Strengthen the digitalization skills of our sales, execution, and service organizations as ambassador of the GEA Academy.
Collect market intelligence and identify new sales opportunities.
Draw up proposals and quotations covering all relevant technical, commercial, and legal aspects and tailor them to specific customer requirements.
Support the bid clarification and contract negotiation process.
Prepare and give compelling sales presentations and demonstrations.
Prepare sales plans, perform regular status reviews.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Business, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering or related study.
At least 3 years of experience driving digitalization in a B2B industrial environment with hands-on experience of IIoT and cloud solution.
As “native digi” deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends.
·Business acumen to drive new business models for recurring revenue.
·Strong communication skills.
·Self-starter with the ability to take initiatives.
Fluent Dutch and English language skills.
