About This Role:
Forrester Research is seeking a Senior Analyst with financial services experience and expertise to be a thought leader, advising our clients about the future of money and how they can thrive in that future. Senior Analysts conduct innovative research and deliver advice through written reports, consulting, client inquiries, guidance and advisory sessions, and speeches.
This Senior Analyst will be part of Forrester’s financial services team, which conducts research into technologies that deliver product and business model innovation. We are looking for an individual who has expertise in payments (e.g. issuing, acquiring, instant payments), open banking (payment initiation and account aggregation), or digital assets (e.g. digital currencies). Candidates must possess a passion for conducting and writing research on these topics with curiosity, technology acumen, business practicality, and prescriptive advice. They must also have the confidence and ability to present to and advise senior executives on these topics.

Job Responsibilities:
Senior Analysts work as part of a global team and collaborate with others across the entire Forrester ecosystem in all aspects of the job. They are expected to:

Conduct primary and secondary research into key aspects of the responsibilities of technology executives at financial services firms, including industry trends, technology strategies, vendor selection, and best practices on how to apply technologies to drive business outcomes. Our research includes interviewing industry leaders, fielding online surveys, conducting briefings with technology and service providers, and analyzing Forrester and third-party data.

Produce an ongoing stream of in-depth research pieces, as well as shorter, more tactical, pieces, addressing top issues for our target clients.

Develop frameworks and tools that clients can use to put into practice our research findings.

Respond to inquiries from Forrester clients via email or scheduled video calls.

Present at Forrester-sponsored and industry-related events and deliver webinars.

Support team members in research collaboration, idea development, and strategic thinking.

Support sales in client development discussions.

Establish an industry presence as an influential speaker and thinker; build relationships with senior industry professionals as well as with the technology vendors that serve them and the journalists who cover the area; and field press inquiries as necessary.

Develop a strong online presence through usage of social media tools.

Proven experience in a technology-related role in the financial services industry, technology vendor, or consulting firm.
