As a pivotal member of the global ITAM team, you will spearhead the accurate administration of assets, encompassing hardware, software, and IT asset services throughout the entire IT asset lifecycle.

Your role
To ensure that all IT assets under the control of Global IT are identified, controlled, and properly cared for throughout their lifecycle.
Verify demand for non-standard IT assets, align requests with the IT asset and vendor portfolio and procure licenses, while ensuring traceability.
Ensure transparent administration of IT supporting showback or chargeback for costs of IT assets, both in Fugro's IT asset systems and in IT vendor invoices and various portals.
Provide insights and report on IT asset compliance, consumption and costs, and make recommendations for optimization and mitigation.
Plan and prepare the renewal of IT asset contracts, support forecasting and compliance.
Advice IT asset owners and where necessary the IT Asset Management Lead on preferred acquisition strategies and preliminary actions to be taken.
Your track record:
You have a university level of work and thinking and preferably a completed education in a direction relevant to the position (Business Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field);
You have 3 to 5 years’ work experience, preferable in the area of (IT) Finance, Resource Planning, or (IT) Project Management;
You have analytical and and conceptual skills;
You are proactive and solution-oriented, enjoy sparring with your team;
You have experience with IT Services organizations in large corporations and with the application of best practice frameworks, such as:
Certified Software Asset Management (CSAM),
Technology Business Management (TBM),
ISO/IEC 19770 – Information Technology – IT Asset Management,
COBIT.
