The Customer Success department within Tjoapack is responsible for the interaction with customers. Implementation of new customer projects and onboarding new suppliers is a key aspect. Maintaining the relationship with external parties, including contract management.

As a Packaging Engineer in our Customer Success team, you'll manage packaging materials and artwork specifications to ensure products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing technical specifications, managing SKU and artwork processes, and collaborating with internal and external partners. Your role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient packaging of pharmaceutical products, requiring technical expertise and attention to detail to contribute to overall success.

Your team is well-educated and ambitious, which fits our organization because we continually strive to remain pioneers in our industry. You will report to the Director of Customer Success and will be an integral member of the Subject Matter Expert (SME) Team within the Customer Success department.

Your responsibilities include

 As a Packaging Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing technical and artwork specifications for Tjoapack's products, overseeing processes for setting up, changing, and administering SKUs and artwork flows. Additionally, you'll coordinate with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners. Alongside these tasks, you'll also take on other responsibilities:

Owner of master data management processes and ensure relevant stakeholders have access to the correct information for execution.

Oversee and approve master data and artwork management processes to maintain compliance, ensure timely updates and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

Coordinate the development, approval, and implementation of packaging artwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Implement and maintain procedures for artwork management to streamline processes and ensure efficiency.

Facilitate the implementation of new customers on the packaging in which you need to collaborate with Quality Assurance and Procurement.

Manage key-line information for packaging artwork, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Serve as a technical resource for customers, providing expertise on packaging materials, specifications, and design.

Oversee and manage customer-specific technical specifications to meet quality and timeline objectives.

Your background, qualification and skills

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.

Prior experience in packaging development, artwork management, or similar roles within the pharmaceutical industry.

Proficient understanding of packaging materials, processes, and technologies, including primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging systems.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing pharmaceutical packaging, such as CFR Title 21 and EU GMP Annex 9.

Strong project management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and seeing projects through to completion.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across various departments and with external partners.

Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and quality in all packaging-related activities.

Demonstrated capability to convey complex information clearly, both orally and in writing, to diverse audiences within and outside the pharmaceutical sector.

Experience and interest in working in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in writing validation documentation and working with data in optimization projects.

Ability to identify and implement process improvements effectively.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a professional level.
